Community Health

Working in healthcare isn’t restricted to hospitals and GP surgeries. The Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT) is responsible for delivering integrated community, mental health and learning disability services, across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, and children’s community services in Peterborough.

The CPFT supports around 100,000 people each year and employs more than 3,400 staff. Our biggest bases are at the Cavell Centre, Peterborough, and Fulbourn Hospital, Cambridge, but our staff are based in more than 90 locations.

We are dedicated to providing high quality care with compassion. Some of the services provided by the CPFT are:

  • Integrated physical and mental health services for adults and older people
  • Specialist mental health and learning disability services
  • Children and young people’s mental health services
  • Children’s community services in Peterborough
  • Social care
  • Ground-breaking research

The CPFT works with the University of Cambridge Clinical School, is a University of Cambridge Teaching Trust and a member of Cambridge University Health Partners.
